What data do we collect?

We collect personal data that you provide to us via our contact form (name, phone number, email address) as well as details about the vehicle you wish to sell or trade in (make, model, year, mileage, condition). Additionally, we automatically collect technical data via cookies and tracking pixels (see below), such as which pages you visit, which vehicles you view, IP address, browser type and device information.

Why do we process your data?

We process your personal data to respond to your enquiry, provide a valuation for your vehicle and contact you regarding potential transactions. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6.1 a GDPR) provided by ticking the consent box in the form. We also use tracking data for marketing and advertising via Meta (Facebook/Instagram). The legal basis for this is legitimate interest (Article 6.1 f GDPR) in order to show relevant ads for our vehicles.

Cookies and tracking

The website uses the Meta pixel (Facebook) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. The Meta pixel sets cookies in your browser (_fbp, _fbc) and sends information to Meta about which pages you visit and which vehicles you view. Meta may use this data to show you ads for our vehicles. You can manage your ad preferences with Meta via Facebook's ad settings. You can also block cookies via your browser settings.

Local storage

We use the browser's localStorage to save your language preference and your saved favourites on the website. No personal information is stored locally — this is solely for your convenience.

Third-party services

The website uses the following third-party services: Meta (Facebook) — the Meta pixel for advertising and measurement. Meta may collect data according to its privacy policy. Google Maps — to display our address. Google may collect data according to its privacy policy. Netlify — for web hosting and form handling. Netlify's servers are located within the EU/EEA.

How long is data retained?

We retain your personal data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, but no longer than 12 months after last contact. After that, the data is deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, rectification of or erasure of your personal data. You may also request restriction of processing, object to processing and request data portability. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
